Console repair FAQ

How much does a console HDMI port replacement cost?

Console HDMI port replacement is $89–$159 with the HDMI port part included, depending on the console. You get a written estimate before any work starts.

My PS5 or Xbox is loud or overheating. What do you do?

A full clean with fresh thermal paste, $69–$119 depending on the console. Built-up dust and dried-out paste are the usual reasons a console gets loud or shuts off mid-game.

My console won’t turn on. Can you fix it?

Often. The $40 diagnosis finds the fault, and it’s credited to the repair if you approve within 7 days. The repair is quoted for your model before any work — board-level faults are repaired under the microscope.

Can you fix controller stick drift?

Yes — PlayStation DualSense, Xbox controllers and Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons. Stick drift is when your character or camera moves without you touching the stick. The $40 diagnosis finds the cause, it’s credited to the repair if you approve within 7 days, and the repair is quoted for your controller before any work.

Do you take walk-ins?

Yes, 8:30 AM–6:30 PM every day. We’re in Unit E at 41843 10th St W, Palmdale (Budget Self Storage), behind a security gate — call or text (661) 770-1589 when you arrive and Eugene will come out and let you in.

Is there a warranty?

Yes. Repairs done with qualified parts carry a 1-year warranty.

How can I pay?

Cash, Zelle, or Cash App. We don’t take credit cards.
