5. The repair

Should I put my wet phone in rice?

No. Power it off, do not charge it, and get it to us. Apple’s own wet-iPhone guidance says rice particles can damage the phone, and rice does not stop corrosion inside.

It works again after drying. Do I still need it checked?

Often, yes. Corrosion can keep working under chips for days or weeks — intermittent boot and no-charge show up later. Cleaning early is the best window.

What does it cost?
