How mail-in repair works

Tell us what you have

Send the repair form or text (661) 770-1589 with your console model and the symptom — no video, no power, bent HDMI port, won’t charge, running hot. A photo helps and costs you nothing.

We quote, you ship

We reply with a quote and shipping instructions. You ship the console to 41843 10th St W Unit E, Palmdale, CA 93551. You pay the shipping and you pay for your own insurance. Both are yours, both ways.

Diagnosis and written estimate

On the bench, the diagnosis is $40 and it is credited toward the repair. We photograph what we find and send you a written estimate — aftermarket parts disclosed — before any paid work starts.

Approve, we fix it, we ship it back

Approve the estimate and the work begins. HDMI repairs get one-day turnaround on our bench; typical turnaround for other console work is 2–5 business days once the device is in hand. We ship it back and you pay the return shipping.

If you decline the quoteThe unit comes back to you with no charge for anything on it — no diagnosis fee, no bench fee. You still pay shipping both ways. That is the whole arrangement: the customer pays shipping both ways and pays for their own insurance. We do not supply a shipping label, free or otherwise — you buy your own label and pay your own insurance, both ways.

What we fix by mail

HDMI port replacement

No signal, flickering picture, bent or broken HDMI port — PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch dock and retro consoles. $89–$159 with the HDMI port part included; the new port is micro-soldered to the board under the microscope. One-day turnaround on HDMI repairs.

No power / no display

Dead unit, shuts off by itself, or no picture with a good port and cable. Board-level fault finding — shorts, burnt components, power rail faults — not just a parts swap. $40 diagnosis, credited toward the repair.

Charging ports

Switch and controller charging ports that won’t take a charge or only charge at an angle. Port replaced and tested before it ships back.

Liquid damage

Spilled on, rained on, or stored damp. Board cleaned and inspected under the microscope, corrosion dealt with, then quoted before any repair.

Fan cleaning & thermal service

Jet-engine fan noise, shutting off mid-game, running hot. Full clean and fresh thermal paste, $69–$119 depending on the console.

Board-level repair

Shorts, charging ICs, HDMI chips and damage from earlier repair attempts. Microscope micro-soldering on the bench in Palmdale, quoted after we have the unit.

Prices from our Pricing page. The HDMI port part is included in the HDMI price. Everything else is quoted for your exact console before any work.

Where to ship it

Packing

Rigid cardboard box, not a padded envelope. Power it off, remove accessories, wrap it so it cannot flex or rattle, and put a note with your name and ticket number inside.

Payment

Cash, Zelle, Cash App, or credit/debit card — walk-in and mail-in.
